Warli is a form of tribal art, originally hand painted by the indigenous tribes of Maharashtra & Gujarat states of India, living in the villages of the mountains and coastal regions, depicting small dancing figures painted in white, doing their daily routine life activities, social events of merry-making, playing musical instruments, usually painted on reddish brown external walls of their traditional homes.
